North Texas School of Talent Education

The North Texas School of Talent Education’s mission is to promote musical learning and character development according to the Suzuki philosophy of music education.

At NTSTE, we believe that all children have talent!

Founded in 2001 by Suzuki Talent Education specialist Charles Krigbaum, the North Texas School of Talent Education offers expert instruction in violin and viola, along with a full array of musical experiences designed to provide a extraordinary musical education for children ages 3 - 18.

Through a series of intense and personal educational experiences, students are prepared for a lifetime of music making at the highest level, regardless of professional aspirations.

At NTSTE, we thrive on developing the joy of music making while cultivating a high standard of excellence for students throughout the North Texas region.  The learning process at NTSTE is designed to help our students develop a solid technical and musical foundation at every level, while also developing discipline, critical thinking, character, and a love for music. We aim to support each child’s unique path and our goal is that all of our students will create a relationship with music that will last throughout their lives.

All students are expected to demonstrate a full commitment to their studies through daily home practice, participation in group lessons, recitals, and concerts, by participating in ensembles and orchestras in the schools and throughout our region, and attending events, workshops and Institutes provided by the larger Suzuki community.

Welcome to the North Texas School of Talent Education!
